How You Can Help

All my years at the Granbury Opera taught me one key thing: without the Opera Guild there is no theater or live entertainment in Granbury.   The support of the six hundred Guild members was absolutely vital in getting us through that first critical weekend--then the reviews could come out, the word would filter through the Metroplex and the tourists would make us a successful run.  Indeed, I always surmised that without that key support from that loyal six hundred, both theaters in Granbury would be dark.  Today, as I write this both theaters, Granbury Live and The Granbury Opera are indeed closed and dark.  Whether or not they come back to life is solely dependent on our ability to rejuvenate and galvanize that moribund Guild and set it back in motion.   We are seeking volunteers, people interested in live entertainment, whether performing, technical support, or merely (and most importantly) as an audience member. If I can meet with six, we can build to a dozen, then we can build to a hundred and soon we’ll have live theater back in Granbury.  With live theater, we can restore the Square to its former glory.

I WILL SUPPORT YOU in any way I can…but I have to know how to get in touch with you.   Please log on to our contact page at Randle Productions and let us know your interest. Whether you are retired or just out of college, we need to talk.  All we are asking is an interest in live entertainment returning to Granbury. Please log on and help.
